What makes us Different?

It begins the moment you walk through our door. You can expect our receptionist to greet you with a smile and a sincere interest in making sure your visit starts out right (If you call our office, you can actually sense “that smile” and can expect the same friendly and helpful manner). This welcoming attitude is repeated throughout our office as you proceed with your dental care.

When it’s time for your appointment (and it’s important that we respect your time by running on time as much as possible), one of our dental assistants will escort you into the operatory where they will make you as comfortable as possible. They will listen to your questions and concerns and keep you comfortable as they assist Dr. Logmann. Dr. Logmann is known not only for his skill, but for his “gentle touch.” Your comfort is addressed throughout your appointment whether it is with Dr. Logmann or with one of our skilled and personable hygienists. They have extensive experience and use the latest equipment and methods to gently but thoroughly clean your teeth.

When your appointment is complete and your questions have been answered, one of our assistants (or hygienist if you are getting your teeth cleaned) will take you to our appointment scheduler, who will work with you in setting up any future appointments. Our scheduler’s specialized full-time job is running and adjusting the appointment schedule for our patient’s convenience.

Your next stop is our insurance and payment office where two expert staff members will spend time with you explaining and filing your insurance or helping you with a payment option. They will make sure you have a clear understanding of your payment expectations and of your insurance benefits, and they will act on your behalf in filing and maximizing those benefits for you. Your treatment plan will be computer printed with details (as is each bill) for you to see and take home.

At the end of your visit, we feel that you will experience an office that is friendly, organized, and efficient.

As Office Manager, I oversee the staff and make sure that each and every staff member is fully trained so that our office runs smoothly. We treat each patient with respect and kindness so that you realize just how important you are to us!

Meet the Staff

We take pride in our individual jobs as well as our teamwork. During our weekly staff meetings, Dr. Logmann shares information about new procedures and technology. But the main purpose of our meetings is to raise our level of patient satisfaction even higher. We realize that each of us is responsible for your experience. We take your suggestions to heart. We want every patient to feel like he or she is our only patient. “We’re Gentle-We Care-And you are treated as our guest,” is not just a slogan; it’s our philosophy!

It is the purpose of our Dental Office to provide the highest quality of services possible to the members of our community. By providing superior care with a personal touch by each and every staff member, we win the confidence and allegiance of our patients. 

Reception
You’ll be greeted with a smile and a genuine desire to make your appointment with us a pleasant one. You will experience this same attention when you call our office. Our receptionist will promptly route your calls and make sure your records are current and up to date. She is the communication line within our office and sees that things run smoothly and efficiently.

Dedicated Dental Scheduler
Our appointment scheduler's “full time” job is to help you with your appointments. You will be speaking with the same person each time, so she will get to know you. We see patients by appointment, but our dedicated scheduler works with Dr. Logmann to handle emergencies as they arise. We do not book more than one patient for each appointment so you can expect your appointment to run on time or very close to it. If Dr. Logmann encounters an infrequent situation that runs him behind schedule, we will keep you fully informed. We try very hard to respect your time.

Insurance/Payment
We have two dedicated and skilled staff members working diligently to keep abreast of all the various insurance plans. Have you tried to call and get information from your insurance company lately? If you have, then you know how important it is to have someone that is knowledgeable and can make sure you receive the maximum benefits from your plan and insure that you don’t suffer from what was “not known ahead of time” (i.e. fine print). Our skilled insurance staff has established working relationships with a number of insurance carriers to further assist you in receiving correct, up-to-date information. If you do not have insurance, our staff will work with you on a payment plan or help arrange your dental work so you are better able to handle what is needed. We have had a long time relationship with a local financing company and can arrange a “No Interest” loan for you so you can complete extensive or major work needed. Everyone is more comfortable when fees are fully known and payment plans are well understood and agreed upon.

Hygiene
Both of our full-time registered hygienists are professionally skilled as well as good “teachers.” They stay up-to-date by maintaining more than the state required continuing education hours. They will keep you informed as they use the latest ultrasonic technology to gently, but thoroughly, clean your teeth. They will teach you how to care for any problems that are specific to you, and will make suggestions as to which products will work best for you. Prior to Dr. Logmann’s examination, our hygienists will bring to Dr. Logmann's attention any areas of concern or interest in cosmetic or reconstructive treatment so these procedures can be discussed. Nitrous Oxide is available if needed, but we have found our patients rarely request it because our hygienists’ techniques and high-tech equipment make for the gentlest cleaning possible for you.

At the conclusion of your cleaning, our hygienists will provide you with a “dental care kit” that includes toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, and any special cleaning items specific to you.

Dental Assistants
Our three dental assistants are fully trained to Dr. Logmann's specifications. They are skilled and because of their extensive training are able to perform a variety of dental procedures. Our assistants are State of Indiana X-ray certified. Our assistants not only participate in your treatment, they see that you are as comfortable as possible and monitor you during your appointment to see that you stay that way. You may feel free to ask our assistants for anything that will make your visit more comfortable. You will find our assistants to be friendly and very concerned that your appointment goes well.

Business Manager (Office Manager)
Our Business Manager oversees all employees and their individual posts, making sure our office is fully prepared, trained and effective. She is in charge of procuring and maintaining legal licensing, insurance, records and accounting, governmental (OSHA, HIPAA) concerns and community relations. Past experiences as a Registered Nurse in charge of various hospital intensive care units, a nursing instructor, as well as a director of a home care business, makes for the knowledge and experience necessary to run a well organized and efficient practice. She has also been recognized as an honored member of the Manchester’s Who’s Who registry of executives and professionals. She is available to spend the necessary time with you explaining procedures and services as well as answering questions either in the office or over the phone. At our office, this is an important part of our service to you. This is just one more way to say—WE CARE.

Laboratory Technicians
While they are not employees, we have a close working relationship with various lab staff and technicians. They understand that precision fit and color is important, and we depend on them to help us deliver superior dental services.
